After the Stevens' we were headed to Grandma and Grandpa's for Christmas eve. Hugh and Judi came by to visit baby Ella and celebrate her first Christmas. Unfortunately, Judi was munched (Ella puked on her) Judi was a good sport about it though. After that Hugh was not too keen on holding Ella. It's OK Hugh we don't like to get munched either.

Santa came to give out presents to everyone! David and Krissy helped so much. I don't know how Santa could do it without them. After all the presents were handed out and David and Krissy were done opening their presents they very graciously helped Ella open hers.

With 2 infants it is pretty hard to get a picture with all smiling. We had been getting Ella ready for this picture for some time. Weeks before Christmas I have been saying 'HO HO HO' so that she would not get scared...it seemed to work.

Ella is getting tired! So much action, Mike was afraid that Ella would sleep though Christmas (I woke her up at 8pm) poor little one did not sleep well the night before.

Christmas Day was spent at Gama and Pop Pop's. Ella slept horribly the night before...Mike and I were very sleep deprived. But thank goodness for coffee!!

This will be the last Christmas in the old farm house. Gama and Pop Pop are moving!!! More to come on this later, Ella and I will check out the new house on Tuesday.

Gama sure does know how to set a table. She made ginger bread cookies for each place setting and there were mini present place card holders so there was no confusion on seating.

Ella finally slept... My parents were really lucky and have some great friends (Sherry and Roger) which gave them a pack and play that they did not need any more. It was perfect for Santa's Little Helper to take a nap in.

The boys in the kitchen!
A few days after Christmas we always go to the Kahney's for Chili. Uncle Mike makes the best chili. I was really nervous before we went because it is always so packed. This year was not too bad and Pop Pop, Gama, and all their friends were so willing to lend a hand. The little girl in the pictures is Julia, she was so excited to help feed Ella. Her cousin, Naomi, loves Ella as well and refers to her as 'MY Ella.' It is so interesting to see how children take care of those that are younger then them. They are drawn to them.
